FACILITIES

Recreational Facilities

  1. The recreational facilities are for the exclusive use of the Residents.
  2. Guests of Residents must be accompanied by the Residents throughout the use of the specified facility.
  3. The Management shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any property or personal injury or death arising from the use of the recreational facilities.
  4. The Management, security personnel or any appointed representatives of the managing agent may require any person at the recreational facilities to identify himself or herself.
  5. The recreational facilities shall be used for its designated purposes only and no other activities or games will be allowed in or about the recreational facilities.
  6. Residents and their Guests must abide by all the rules when they use the recreational facilities. The Residents shall be responsible for the behaviour of their guests and their compliance of the rules.
  7. Any Residents and/or their Guests who breach any of the rules herein or endanger themselves or others, shall be required to leave the area and the Resident shall be barred from making any bookings for any of the recreational facilities for a period of four (4) weeks.
  8. Smoking is prohibited within the vicinity of the enclosed recreational facilities, that is, the squash court, gymnasium, saunas and Function Room.
  9. The Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused to the recreational facilities by them or their Guests. The Resident must inform the security guard and the Management of any existing damage to the facility or equipment they or their Guests are about to use, failing which they may be held responsible for such damages and bear the repair/replacement costs.
  10. No maids and employees are allowed to use any of the recreational facilities.
  11. Training or coaching classes by professionals for residents only at any of the recreational facilities are not allowed without the prior written approval from the Management.
  12. All rules and regulations are subject to revision by the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  1. The courts are open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily. (The security guards are authorized to ask the users to leave after 10.00pm.).
  2. Bookings shall be made online by a resident of the respective unit.  For last minute booking, resident may register at the security post  if the court is available
  3. The maximum number of Guests per Unit shall not exceed four (4) persons at any one time. The Guests must be accompanied by the Resident at all times.
  4. A booking shall be deemed cancelled if the Resident is not at the court within 15 minutes of the time booked and thereafter, the court becomes available for booking for the remainder of that hour.
  5. Bookings are not transferable. To discourage frivolous bookings, Residents who fail to turn up after three bookings without making proper cancellations will be barred from the use of the tennis court for the next (4) weeks.
  6. The Resident who has made the booking shall be responsible to ensure that court is not used for any purpose other than the game it is intended for.
  7. All users must be properly attired. Only non-marking shoes shall be allowed.
  8. No food or drinks are allowed in the court. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  9. Pets are not allowed on the courts.
  10. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the court unless accompanied by parents or supervising adults who shall be responsible for their safety and good behaviour.
  11. The Management shall not be responsible for any mishaps, injuries or loss of property sustained by the Residents or their Guests when using the courts.
  12. The Management reserve the right to book the court for community bonding purposes.
  13. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  14. Bookings may be made up to one (1) week in advance. Each unit may book only 1 session consisting of one (1) hour of play in any one day, with a maximum of 2 sessions per week.
  1. The swimming pools and the changing rooms are open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily.
  2. Guests must be accompanied by the Resident at all times. The Resident shall ensure that their Guests comply with the rules herein and be responsible for the behaviour of their Guests. The maximum number of Guests per Unit who may use the pools shall not exceed four (4) persons at any one time.
  3. Children under 12 years of age shall not be allowed in the pools unless accompanied by their parents or supervising adults who shall be responsible for their safety and good behaviour.
  4. No life guard is provided. All persons using the pools do so as at their own risks.
  5. All users of the pools must shower before entering the pools. Persons who are suffering from any infectious or communicate diseases shall not be permitted to use the pools.
  6. Spitting, nose blowing and the like are not permitted in the pools.
  7. All users of the pools must be in proper swimming attire. T-shirts and shorts are strictly prohibited in the pools.
  8. No food, smoking and drinking is allowed in the pools or within one (1) metre of the edge of the pools.
  9. There shall be no reservation of the pool areas by Residents for private games or any other activities.
  10. Roller-skating, cycling, frisbee playing, balls sports or other similar activities is not permitted in the pool area.
  11. Surfboards, snorkeling and scuba diving gear (that is, masks, snorkels, flippers, diving suit, etc) glass masks or glass goggles, bulky inflatable toys and boats and similar objects shall not be permitted in the pools. However, plastic goggles are permitted and children may play with small water toys in the wading pool.
  12. Footwear shall not be allowed in the non-footwear area.
  13. No pets are allowed in and around the vicinity of the pools.
  14. No coach shall be permitted to give lessons in the pools without first obtaining the prior written consent from the Management.
  15. All swimming instructors are to register with the Management with written request indicating personal particulars. Particulars of residence of their Blocks and Units are to be included.
  16. Lessons are strictly only for residence that are residing in Hillington Green. No lessons are to be given to the guest of residents who are not residing in the estate.
  17. Lessons are to be confined on the following days and times:-
    Mondays – Fridays - 7.00am – 9.00pm
    Saturdays - 7.00am – 3.00pm
    Sundays/Public Holidays No lessons are to be conducted
  18. Only maximum of six (6) students are allowed at any one time of each lesson to be conducted.
  19. Instructors are responsible for all students, which are under their care, be it their safety and all other aspects pertaining to the swimming lessons.
  20. Do not use the emergency life buoy as a float.
  21. The equipment around the pool area shall only be used for its designated purpose. No pool side furniture shall be removed from the pool area. Misuse of the pool side furniture is strictly prohibited. Deck chairs and other pool side furniture may not be reserved.
  22. All users are required to dry themselves before leaving the swimming pool area. No person in a dripping wet swimming attire shall go beyond the swimming pool area.
  23. All persons are advised to leave the pools during heavy rain and thunderstorms.
  24. The Management reserves the right to close the pools for maintenance purpose.
  25. The Management shall not be responsible for any mishaps, injuries or loss of property sustained by the Residents or their Guests when using the pools and their facilities.
  26. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  27. Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused by them or their guest(s) to the common property at and around the pools area and shall be liable for all costs incurred by the Management for the repair or replacement of the damaged property. Residents are also responsible for the good behavior of guests.
  1. The saunas, which are located in both the Gents’ and Ladies’ Changing Rooms at Clubhouse, are open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily.
  2. Only Residents are permitted to use the saunas. Guests must be accompanied by the Resident at all times. The Resident shall ensure that their Guests comply with the rules herein and be responsible for the behaviour of their Guests. The maximum number of Guests per Unit who may use the saunas shall not exceed two (2) persons at any one time.
  3. Users are advised to shower before entering the sauna.
  4. The door of the sauna must be closed at all times.
  5. No male person shall enter the sauna reserved for the female or vice-versa.
  6. Eating, drinking and smoking is strictly prohibited in the sauna.
  7. Shoes shall not be worn into the sauna.
  8. Persons using the sauna must observe the health warning signs posted at the entrance to the sauna.
  9. Children under 12 years of age using the sauna must be accompanied by their parents or supervising adults who shall be responsible for their safety and good behaviour.
  10. The Management shall not be responsible for any mishaps, injuries or loss of property sustained by the Residents or Guests when using the sauna.
  11. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  12. Collection and returning of key of the Sauna room must be registered at the guardhouse.
  1. The barbecue pit may be reserved for use during the following sessions:-
    First Session - 9.00am to 2.00pm
    Second Session - 4.00pm to 10.00pm
    The barbecue pit will be closed at 10.00pm.
  2. Booking of the barbecue pit may be made six (6) months in advance on a first-come-first-served basis as indicated below:
    From 1st March till 31 August
    1st June till 30 November
    1st September till 28 February
    1st December til 31 May
  3. Each unit is allowed to book up to a maximum of 12 sessions per year. Cancellation of booking shall be made at least two (2) weeks before the booked date, failing which the Management reserves the right to forfeit the deposit. To discourage frivolous booking, Residents who booked and cancelled the booking for more than two times within one calendar year will be barred from booking for the subsequent six (6) months.
  4. To complete the online booking, the Resident is required to submit an application form (available from the management office) and a refundable deposit of $100.00 to the Management at the management office during office hours. The deposit will be refunded, free of interest, only after the barbecue pit and its surrounding areas are inspected to be properly cleaned and in good order after use. Any expenses incurred by the Management for repairing any damage caused or for cleaning the barbecue pit and its surrounding are shall be deducted from the deposit.
  5. The maximum number of Guests per session shall not exceed twenty (20) persons.
  6. The Residents and their Guests shall ensure that the barbecue pit and its surrounding areas are properly cleaned after use. All litter, food waste, extinguished ashes, etc. must be contained in polythene bags properly tied and disposed of in the refuse containers provided.
  7. The Resident must ensure that all lighted or smouldering charcoal is extinguished before it is thrown into the refuse containers.
  8. Washing of utensils shall only be done at the washing point provided. Taps at the footbath and wash basins in the changing rooms are not to be used for this purpose.
  9. Residents using the barbecue pit must restrict their activities to the pit areas.
  10. Music must be kept at a low volume. The use of radios, hi-fi equipment, musical instruments and other like equipment shall be in the manner and at the level so as not to cause disturbance or create noise nuisance to the other Residents.
  11. The Management shall not be responsible for any mishaps, injuries or loss of property sustained by the Residents or their Guests when using the barbecue pit.
  12. Consumption of food and drinks by the side of the pools is not allowed.
  13. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  1. Opening hours are generally from 6am to 10pm daily. From time to time this can be amended due to circumstances.
  2. Only Residents are permitted to use the gymnasium. Guests must be accompanied by the Resident(s) at all time. Residents have to be present for the entire duration for which their Guests are using the Gym facilities. Guests are bound by stated rules.
  3. The maximum number of Guests per Unit shall not exceed two (2) persons at any one time. The Management reserves the right at any time to amend or suspend Guest privileges if Gym occupancy is high. This also applies to private trainers hired by Residents.
  4. Please limit usage of cardio machines (including treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bicycles) to no more than 30 minutes during peak periods or when usage is high. Users are encouraged to share equipment and not to hog specific items or stations; rest times of above 2 minutes between sets should be avoided under such circumstances. No more than 10 sets per workout station should be performed during this time as well.
  5. All residents using the Gymnasium must be in clean sports attire that provides appropriate coverage. Sports shoes are strictly required but are to be removed when using the floor exercise mat area.
  6. Users of the Gymnasium must bring along a towel for hygiene purpose. Please wipe down equipment used if necessary.
  7. Please remove any footwear when you are inside the designated punching bag area. Kindly also refrain from striking the punching bag if you have not been trained to do so as injuries can occur.
  8. No equipment shall be shifted or removed from their designated positions or from the gymnasium. Weights shall be returned to their designated positions after use.
  9. Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused by them or their guest(s) to the equipment in the gymnasium and shall be liable for all costs incurred by the Management for the repair or replacement of the damaged equipment. Residents are also responsible for the good behavior of guests.
  10. No food or drinks are to be brought into the gymnasium. However, exceptions can be made for water and appropriate gym supplements such as whey and creatine. Please do not use banned or questionable workout supplements in the gym.
  11. Please refrain from dropping weights, emotional outbursts, playing loud music and/or excessive loud grunting while working out. We would appreciate consideration for all users. Safety is paramount and we urge users to use discretion and courtesy at all times. E.g. it would be inadvisable to lift heavy weights or kick/punch the bag over a prone person doing an abs or stretching routine.
  12. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the gymnasium.
  13. No pet is to be brought into the gymnasium.
  14. Reservation or exclusive use of the gymnasium or its equipment is not permitted.
  15. For safety reasons, children under the age of 14 years old are not allowed inside the gym regardless of whether they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  16. The Management shall not be liable for any mishap, injury or loss sustained by residents or guests howsoever caused, during the use of the gymnasium.
  17. The management staff or security officer on duty reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with the above rules and regulations.
  18. To comply in addition to other clauses as stipulated in the “House Rules”.
  1. The games room is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm daily.
  2. No furniture shall be shifted or removed from the games room.
  3. The Residents shall be responsible for any damage caused by them or their Guests and shall be liable for all cost incurred by the Management for the repair or replacement of the damaged item.
  4. Pets are not allowed in the games room.
  5. No smoking is allowed in the games room.
  6. No gambling is allowed in the games room.
  7. Consumption of food and drinks is strictly not allowed.
  8. Residents and their Guest shall ensure that there is no excessive noise or nuisance caused to other Residents.
  9. The Resident shall be responsible for the good conduct and behaviour of themselves and their Guests attending the activities at the games room.
  10. The Management shall not be responsible for any mishaps, injuries or loss of property sustained by the Residents of their Guests when using the games room.
  11. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
  12. Please do not sleep in the games room.

The following guidelines govern the use and the reservation of the Function Room. This facility is further subdivided into two rooms via a partition to provide residents with the option to make a reservation for the entire facility or one room.

  • 1. The Function Rooms are available for booking at the following 2 slots:

    First Session - 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
    Second Session - 4.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
    The Function Rooms will be closed at 10.00 p.m.
  • 2. BOOKING FEES:

    1 One room for any given session: $20.00
    2 Two rooms for any given session: $30.00
    1. Booking fee is subject to GST.
    2. A deposit of $100 shall apply to all bookings. (One room $100.00 & Two rooms at $200.00)
    3. A booking of one-room booking can be extended to a two-room booking upon payment of the difference in booking fee if the other room is available.
  • 3. RESERVATIONS:

    Resident shall secure their preferred slot by online booking via www.hillingtongreen.com.sg. Thereafter, booking must be made in person at the Management Office with the payment of booking fee and deposit during the following office hours:

    Weekdays 9am -5.30pm
    Saturdays 9am-12.30pm

    (The above does not include Public Holidays. Office may be closed for half day during certain Holiday Eve.)

    1. Both booking fee and deposit shall be paid in cheque within one (1) working day from the date of online booking on a "hot date" or otherwise within three (3) working days from the date of online booking.
    2. The Management shall not be responsible for online booking that are void due to non-payment within the stipulated period.
    3. In the event the booking date is only 1 after the online booking date, payment must be made immediately.
    4. The Management staffs and security reserves the right to stop anyone who attempted to use the facilities before any payment is made.
  • 4. NUMBER OF BOOKINGS PER APARTMENT UNIT:

    There is no restrictions on the number of sessions a unit can book except that each unit is allowed to book one (1) session on any of the “hot dates” in any six (6) month period except where a session on a “hot date” is still available for a booking that is less than one (1) month from the day of booking.

    The following dates in a year are designated as "hot date(s)":

    1. Eve of Singapore Public Holidays;
    2. Singapore Public Holidays (including Mondays following the Public Holidays that fall on a weekend); and
    3. Saturdays and Sundays.
  • 5. CANCELLATION:

    Cancellation of “off peak” booking shall be made at least two (2) weeks before the actual booking date and cancellation of any booking on a “hot date” must be made at least one (1) month before the actual booking date, failing which the Management reserves the right to forfeit the booking fee and apply a six (6) month booking restriction from the date of cancelled booking.

  • 6. NO SHOWS:

    Booking fee will not be refunded for failing to turn up on the booking date.

  • 7. BOOKING FORM:

    To complete the booking procedure, an application form (available from the Management Office) is to be duly completed after online booking is made. Cheque payment shall be made at the Management Office during office hours. The deposit will be refunded, free from interest, only after the Function Room is returned in its original condition before use.

  • 8. USE OF FUNCTION ROOM

    1. The Function Room will only be used for non-commercial and social functions such as birthday parties and other interest group functions. It will not be used for functions in connection with religious, political, illegal or immoral activities. The Management reserves the right to disallow any request for booking should it deem that the planned activity is inappropriate or to disallow the use of the Function Room when such inappropriate activity is discovered.
    2. The host(s) shall be responsible for the good conduct and behaviour of all persons attending the function.
    3. There should not be excessive noise, high volume music, turntable or nuisance caused to other Residents.
    4. The host(s) shall obtain proper licences/permits from the relevant authorities for holding the function where it is necessary.
    5. Food/beverage (alcohol or non-alcohol) shall not be consumed at the pool deck area but shall be confined to the Function Room only.
    6. No cooking is allowed and washing shall only be done at the pantry provided. General cleanliness of the room must be maintained. The room must be cleaned and all articles and refuse are to be removed immediately after the use of the room.
    7. The number of guests to be limited to 30 people or less per function room.
    8. The Management reserves the right to deduct an equivalent sum of monies from the refundable deposit for damages caused to the fittings/fixtures of the room or the surrounding areas, as well as, if the room was found to be untidy or being violated.
    9. The host(s) shall keep the Management indemnified against all actions, claims, demands they may be brought or made against the Management by any person arising out of the use of the room.
    10. The Management reserves the sole right to waive the booking fees for any activities sanctioned by the Management in which the Management deemed to encourage greater community bonding such as block parties, educational talks for children, Mother-Toddler get-together and similar activities. Application for waiver shall be made in writing to the Management at least 2 weeks before such event.
    11. The Management reserves the sole right to impose additional charges and/or set restrictions on the usage of each function room for any request to use the Function Room for commercial purposes that are of general interest of the residents of Hillington Green such as product road-shows, recreation classes etc. The additional charges may be as much as five (5) times the current booking fees or more. Application for such use shall be made in writing to the Management at least 1 month before the said event. The applicant or requestor will have to submit a statement of declaration that no benefit of any kind will be provided to any individual or individuals residing in Hillington Green or any of their immediate families.
    12. These rules and regulations are subject to revision at the discretion of the Management as and when it is deemed necessary.
